The story so far
Since the study began in 2015, we have recruited over 2300 patients across 56 sites in the UK. This is a huge achievement and our thanks go to our fantastic sites for all of their support.
The study design until now has included group 1 (new diagnosis) patients and prevalent patients with an established diagnosis under long-term follow-up.
Looking to the future…
For the next phase of the study, we will significantly simplify this model. We believe it is important to continue this national collaboration to create a cohort of patients with autoimmune hepatitis who may be able to participate in future studies and clinical trials in this rare disease.
